#EssentialRecipe => Plant Based Egg Replacement

These are two great egg replacement for baking.

This recipe is for 1 egg, double if you need 2, etc. Chia seeds make a stickier result so keep that in mind when deciding to use flaxseed meal or chia seeds. Perfect for waffles, cookies, crêpes, etc.

 

Ingredients:

1 Tbsp flaxseed meal or chia seeds

-2 1/2 Tbsp room temperature filtered water

 

Method:

Place your flaxseed meal or chia seeds in a small glass dish. 

Pour the water on top.

Stir well.

Let's sit for about 5 minutes. The chia seed version will have a gel like consistency. 

 

Voila! Plant based egg.
